STATEMENT FROM TEACHERS’ INSURANCE PLAN

White Plains, NY ~ September 12, 2001 - The management and employees of the Teachers’ Insurance Plan are deeply saddened by the tragic events of September 11th. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and loved ones.

During these difficult times, we remain committed to serving our policyholders in whatever way we can and wish to reassure our customers that we are fully staffed and prepared to work with them toward recovery. On a final note, we are both proud and gratified by the support our Teachers’ employees have shown for the efforts underway in New York and Washington DC. They have donated blood, made contributions to the effort and continue to serve in whatever way they can.
