TEACHERS’ INSURANCE PLAN EXPANDS INTO OHIO  

Auto Insurance Program Now Available to One-Quarter of All Teachers

White Plains NY --- February 12, 2002 - Teachers’ Insurance Plan (TIP), which for nearly a decade focused on providing affordable auto insurance to New York educators, announced its expansion into Ohio.

Building on its success in New York, the educator-specific program entered Pennsylvania, Florida and Connecticut during 2001 and this February launched in Ohio. Those five states represent nearly 25% of the nation’s teacher-population.
