Teacher of the Year (TOTY™)
Teachers.com Insurance recognizes outstanding school leadership by honoring exceptional teachers in each of our select states for the contributions they have made toward the betterment of their schools, students or educational communities. Teachers.com Insurance awards each winner a $1,000 cash prize. In addition, the school that employs the winning teacher receives $500 to use for school supplies, equipment or enrichment programs.

The Teachers.com Insurance Selection Committee will select the winners in its sole discretion. Decisions made by the Selection Committee are final. The Award is conditioned upon the winner agreeing to accept the Teacher of the Year Award at a time and place to be determined by Teachers.com Insurance and allowing the use of his or her name and image by the Company. Qualified educators must hold a full-time teaching position (kindergarten through graduate school) in a public or private school or university. No purchase is necessary. Nominations will be open to all qualified teachers regardless of whether they are a Teachers.com Insurance member.
