Since damaged windshields and other auto glass create unsafe driving conditions, you’re covered for their repair or replacement if you have Other Than Collision Coverage (sometimes known as Comprehensive Coverage).
Report a Glass-Only Claim
Teachers’ Insurance Plan uses Safelite Solutions® for the processing of glass-only claims. To report a glass-only claim and schedule an appointment for service with Safelite Solutions, click here to go to the Teachers’ Safelite Solutions web page (on the Safelite Solutions’ website). You’ll need to provide some information such as your policy number to get the claim process started. Or you can call our Claims Department at 1-800-277-5788 and select the option for glass-only claims.

Safelite Solutions expedites the claims process by scheduling the repair whether you decide to use Safelite Solutions or a vendor of your choice. Your repair or replacement will be arranged for a time and location that is convenient for you, whether at your home or workplace, or drive-in service. In most cases, once you report the incident and coverage is confirmed, the damage will be repaired or replaced within 48 hours. Repair vs. Replacement
If the glass is replaced, you will be responsible for paying your deductible. If you choose to have damage repaired instead, we’ll waive your deductible, and the repair will be completed at no cost to you.
