I'm a teacher but my husband isn't. Would we both be able to benefit from Teachers' Insurance Plan?
Yes! All immediate family members - including husbands and children - of active and retired education employees can benefit from our preferred educator rates.

Are all active or retired education employees eligible for a Teachers' policy?
No. Our low auto insurance rates are only available to those active or retired education employees with good driving records, as determined by our underwriters.

I'm used to dealing with a broker for my insurance needs. Who would I deal with at Teachers' Insurance Plan?
You would deal directly with one of our highly trained Insurance Advisors. This unique, one-to-one relationship is not only designed to provide policyholders with quick and convenient access to the information you need, it also keeps our rates low by eliminating agent or broker commissions. Our advisors are licensed agents/producers in states where it is required by law.

Would I have to pay for my policy all at once?

No! Teachers' Insurance Plan offers a number of convenient payment options to match your budget.

For 6-month policies, we offer:

Payment in Full;
2-Pay (50% down with the balance due in 60 days); and
4-Pay (25% down with 3 payments due in 30 day increments)*

* In some states/programs, the down payment is 40% with 3 payments
   due in 30 day increments. Other options may apply depending on your
   state of residence.

For 12-month policies, we offer:

Payment in Full;
2-Pay (50% down with the balance due in 5 months); and
4-Pay (25% down with 3 payments due in 60 day increments)*; and
10-Pay (10% down with 9 payments due every 30 days)**

* In some states/programs, the down payment is 40% with 3 payments
   due in 60 day increments. Other options may apply depending on your
   state of residence.

** In some states/programs, the down payment is 20% with 9 payments
     due in 30 day increments. Other options may apply depending on your
     state of residence.
